WILD EYE RELEASING TO DEBUT NEW COLLECTOR’S LABEL VISUAL VENGEANCE IN JULY 2022
Exciting news for all the horror fans out there. Wild Eye Releasing, most famous for such films as 2017’s “Velocipastor”, 2021’s “Noah Shark”, and many more has some big news for us all. Wild Eye Releasing of course has been killing it lately in the horror community with all their amazing films and talented cast in each one of them showing us all a new look into their terrifying tales. Most horror fans are up to watching any horror movie to give it a shot. We are more excited when it comes to new releases, not like the intense anger and demanding tones you see from most “Star Wars” fans these days. We are all up for a new horror movie. We don’t care how good it is and usually don’t care who is in it. We are eager to indulge in a new horror story and see just how much we are sitting on the edge of our seats. We are also addicted to collecting as many horror movie Blu-rays for multiple rewatches, as well as vastly increasing our horror movie collection.
It is fair to say that most people who enjoy horror movies are collectors in many aspects. We collect the movies, posters, exclusive figures, Funko Pops and so much more. We want to surround our world with as many reminders of our favorite horror films and why we watch them. There aren’t many horror movies fans out there who don’t love collecting something from their favorite horror movies or even buying that special collector’s edition for one of our favorite horror movies. We will even go out and re-purchase a movie we already own if there is a must-have version of the movie like a director’s cut, or even a new commentary that we have to listen to.
Wild Eye Releasing is thrilled to announce their brand-new sister label Visual Vengeance, a collector’s Blu-ray label dedicated to vintage, sometimes overlooked micro-budget genre independents from the 1980s through the 2000s.
The upcoming slate of releases will span underground genre history including action, horror, and sci-fi titles – and will feature SOV, Super 8, 16mm, and 35mm lensed movies – though its primary focus will be shot on video movies of the beloved VHS and early DVD era when independent film output flourished.
The label will include movies from enduring fan-favorite directors like Todd Sheets, Bret McCormick, Mark Polonia, Brad Sykes, Kevin Lindenmuth, and Donald Farmer, as well as many others - and a good selection of the featured movies have been feared ‘lost’ or remained out of print for decades.
All releases will include participation on brand new bonus features with the original creators and stars of the movies and be released in deluxe collector’s editions with limited edition Slipcase packaging – as well as being loaded with special features. Plus, many will have the addition of liner notes and premium items such as posters, stickers and more surprises.

Visual Vengeance will be a great new venue for all horror fans out there to enjoy some known cult classics and maybe a few we may have overlooked. Not to mention all the insane number of special features that will be packed into each Blu-ray, for us hardcore horror fans to enjoy commentaries, behind-the-scenes features, and much more. I don’t know about you but in any horror movie, I watch I must check out the special features. Deleted Scenes are one of the best features to check out in my opinion, as you get to see what didn’t make it from the cutting room floor. Not to mention how much glee I get listening to the commentaries on any horror movie I watch. It is almost like you get to sit in and listen to the cast, directors, writers and etc talk about their experience in the film. If I had to vote between the two, commentaries are going to be my top pick. You get the best of both worlds with it.
