80s Throwback Slasher Flick 'FINAL SUMMER' Coming To The Smodcastle On May 26th

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a really good 80s style slasher film. The folks over at the Smodcastle must have agreed with us because they are showing John Isberg's Final Summer staring Thom Mathews, Bishop Stevens, Carl Bailey, Nora Yates, Pam Erickson, and Rico Whitehead.

Final Summer will be playing at the famous Smodcastle Cinemas on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 7pm. 

The premise is very simple and that’s right up our alley.

“In the wake of a tragedy during the summer of 1991, a group of camp counselors find themselves fighting for their lives against a masked killer.”

Also playing, Mort is a fifteen minute debut short film written, produced, and directed by Charlie Queen in Southern Illinois.
