HORROR-THRILLER, ‘FULL RIDE,’ STARRING ANNE HECHE, DERMOT MULRONEY & MCKALEY MILLER WRAPS PRODUCTION
Jerren Lauder and Beth Hanna’s upcoming collegiate horror-thriller, FULL RIDE, starring Anne Heche, Dermot Mulroney, and McKaley Miller has wrapped production in Georgia and will be released in early 2023 by Quiver Distribution, according to Deadline.
The film centers on the straight-edge Eden (Miller), who after being waitlisted at Yale, attends a coveted ‘Heaven and Hell’ party, in the hopes of receiving a letter of recommendation from the wealthy parents of her well-connected classmate. But things aren’t what they seem and the party quickly turns into a fight for her life.
Deadline quotes: “'Full Ride is a chilling critique of the politics surrounding college admissions while simultaneously providing plenty of suspense,” said Meyerowitz and Sackman in a joint statement. “Anchored by knockout performances from McKaley, Anne, and Dermot and led by an impressive filmmaking duo, we’re thrilled to be able to take audiences on this exhilarating ride.”
Anne Heche has starred in such films as 13 Minutes, Donnie Brasco, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Psycho. Dermot Mulroney (not to be confused with Dylan McDurmott), has appeared in Umma, My Best Friend’s Wedding, and The Family Stone. Miller is best known for her roles in The CW’s “Hart of Dixie”, Fox’s “Scream Queens” and FX’s “Partners”, as well as the horror-thriller, Ma.
The film was written by Brad Martocello (Cash-in-Transit, Boy in a Backpack) and Walker Hare (Jackill, Thorp).
