Danielle Harris-Directed Trailer Heralds The Opening Of The First BLAIR WITCH Themed Escape Experience!
Do we have some epic news for you! We got photos, we got video, and to top it all off, we will be at the event to bring you all the interviews and goodies that come with such an epic premier/opening. What are we talking about you ask? Well, just the first-ever Escape Room based on THE BLAIR WITCH! Oh, and did we mention Halloween franchise alum Danielle Harris has directed an epic short just for this occasion?

ESCAPE BLAIR WITCH is an immersive, multi-room escape experience that brings to life Lionsgate’s iconic blockbuster film franchise, Blair Witch. Players begin their journey at the Burkittsville Ranger’s Station, nestled in the Black Hills Forest, on a hunt for information into the disappearance of a few local college students. Do you believe in the stories about the Blair Witch? Was there an accident in the woods or did something far more sinister take place?
“Over the years we have partnered with Lionsgate many times to create world-class attractions,” said Jason Egan, owner of Egan Escape Productions. “Way back in 2009 when we first worked with the Lionsgate team to bring the SAW films to life at our iconic Halloween attraction, Fright Dome, I could only have dreamed to be embarking on so many exciting projects with a world-class team. To be able to offer Escape Blair Witch and The Official SAW Escape: Las Vegas all under one roof is truly amazing.”
As guests enter, they will immediately be transported to the lifelike small village of Burkittsville, Maryland, to investigate mysterious happenings and disappearances within the community. Investigators will then need to work together to escape multiple rooms that bring the classic film and the curse of the Blair Witch to life. Trekking through the iconic Black Hills Forest will be just one of the memorable dramatic and terrifying elements that provide exciting twists, putting guests to the test.

All rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between every group. Rooms are also sanitized several times during each shift using a general utility fogger. The general utility fogger disinfects all hard-to-reach areas along with areas that cannot be reached normally by guests to ensure we are creating the safest environment possible.
All pens, clipboards, and other miscellaneous hand held items that are used by guests will be sanitized between each and every group.
Hand sanitizer stations are positioned at several locations throughout the attraction, as well as at the beginning and end of your game.
Employees are subject to temperature checks upon arrival to verify they are not symptomatic.
If you are a guest attending our experience, please note that if you are symptomatic with a cough or fever, or if you feel unwell, you will be denied entry and you will have to re-schedule for a different date.
Until further notice we will be requiring all guests bring their own mask/face covering to wear. Masks must cover the nose and mouth for the safety of our guests and our staff. This does not include Halloween masks; we are specifically limiting this to a protective covering that covers the nose and mouth. We are also asking that guests practice social distancing and not touch our staff for any reason during the experience.
With the many additional measures we are taking we want our guests to feel confident that they are in the safest environment possible while enjoying our immersive experience.
We are happy to assure you that the procedures listed above will not take away from the immersive experience we have created. All of the safety measures will be implemented in a way to keep the experience real and enjoyable.
