Joe Lo Truglio is the latest comedian-turned-director who’s making his feature film debut with a horror film and it’s one that blends claustrophobia with the fear of isolation. From Gravitas Ventures, Outpost comes to theaters and Demand on May 19th and it has some serious “Shining” vibes so we think you’ll dig it.

After a violent assault, a woman asks her best friend for help escaping an abusive ex. She’s given a job as a fire lookout in the mountains of northern Idaho, hoping the peaceful solitude will heal her trauma.
