Mckenna Grace Gives First Look At Ghostbusters Firehouse Set In New TikTok video

Yesterday was Ghostbusters Day and of course there was a few ghostly things that occurred but one that grabbed us by the proton wand was this new video by Ghostbusters: Afterlife star, Mckenna Grace.

The clip, set to a sped-up rendition of Lizzy McAlpine’s “Ceilings,” sees Grace sliding down the firehouse pole, whimsically passing by the Ecto-1, eventually making her way outside, revealing the recreated exterior of New York City’s Hook & Ladder 8.

While on the topic of the fabricated set, as a guest on last week’s episode of BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen, Dan Aykroyd spoke highly of the film’s production design, saying:

“We got the Cadillac in there, Ecto-1, and we got the firehouse. We actually built an entire replica of the firehouse on stage inside. They built the corner of Varick and North Moore inside, and they did it beautifully. Production design is spectacular on this show, again, I’m just so grateful to work with these people. They’re making the vision of the director and producer come to life, and it’s just fun to be able to play that character again and be in that world.“

We’re excited for this new film which will focus on the next chapter of the “Spengler Family Saga” and the film is still set for a December 2023 release so stay tuned for more goodies as we get them.
