'JURASSIC PARK' Getting 4K Special 30th Anniversary Blu-Ray Release

It’s time to take a trip back to Isla Nublar with a brand new 4k blu-ray release of Jurassic Park from Universal Pictures. According to ComicBook, the product will be released on June 27, and it will feature a massive amount of bonus content that goes into detail regarding the making of the prehistoric adventure.

There’s no doubt that Jurassic Park was a part of many children’s lives growing up in the 90s. The film was released in 1993 and we remember being at the theater scared outta our wits when the T-REX came on the screen but loving every minute of it. It was the first time we actually saw Dinosaurs (or Steven Spielberg’s version of them anyway) on the big screen, moving, running, and gobbling up weary Jurassic Park guests and crew. It was magical damn it.

We would expect Universal to celebrate the films 30th anniversary with some major revels and goodies in this new boxed set and we weren’t disappointed by this list.

The special edition steelbook will include:

42-page booklet featuring behind-the-scenes, storyboards, original artwork, trivia, and more

Film cell replica of an iconic scene from the movie

4 illustrated art cards

Reversible sleeve with original poster art

Numbered certificate of authenticity
