"FALLOUT" Series Release Date Revealed In Ominous Video With Classic Video Game Graphic
Hello vault dwellers as well as wastlanders alike. The upcoming Fallout tv series release date has been officially announced by Prime Studios and we have all the info you’re gonna need to survive.
Prime Video has announced the official release date of the Fallout in honor of the 26th anniversary of Fallout Day. Along with launching the social media channels for the show at the same time, the date was revealed as part of an interactive Pip-Boy graphic in honor of the games' all-important wearable computer device. According to the countdown, the show is due to premiere on Prime Video on April 12, 2024.
We really have high hopes for this new series as the games were a staple in our home for years and we spent hours upon hours roaming Fallout’s open world map full of mutants, monsters, and mad men.
The Prime Video adaptation is based on the video game series of the same name, which takes place in a retro-styled future on an alternate historical timeline where nuclear proliferation during World War II changed the fabric of society before a nuclear war in 2077 created a post-apocalyptic world. The show, which stars Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Dale Dickey, was developed by Westworld duo Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan.
Fallout is also set to premiere during a time that the ongoing 2023 Screen Actors Guild strike could still be delaying other shows as actors fight for fair pay. While the dispute will probably be resolved by April, there likely won't be enough time for many streaming series to be ready for release that early into 2024, leaving a more open schedule with less competition. This placement could also make it so that it is perfectly timed to have the Fallout ca return to shoot season 2 after the end of the strike and avoid a long delay between seasons
We’ll keep ya posted on any new developments for FALLOUT.
