FANCY WATCHING "THE DESCENT" IN AN ACTUAL CAVE? THE VILLAGE SCREEN HAS YOU COVERED

Cinephiles in the CASTLETON area have the opportunity to view NEIL MARSHALL’s 2005 claustrophobic gore-a-thon THE DESCENT as nature intended; inside an actual fuckin’ cave!

Pictured: Me, browsing the existential philosophy section in a reasonably high-end bookstore while the over-friendly shop assistant lurks with sinister “Can I help you with anything?” intent.

And it’s not just fans of female imperilment that can benefit from a visit to the Derbyshire event - - a whole range of classics are set to be screened between the 23rd April and the 15th May which include ALIEN, THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, salty and irrelevant MARTIN SCORSESE’s utterly overrated SHUTTER ISLAND, and DENIS VILLENEUVE’s really rather wonderful adaptation of DUNE.
