GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS Spinoff Tv Series Set Video Teases A Kaiju Attack At The Beach!

A new video has emerged from the set of AppleTV+’s, as of yet, untitled MonsterVerse spinoff series showing terrified extras running on the beach after an unknown kaiju emerges from the depths.

Little has been revealed for the aforementioned spinoff series but today we now have a new set video courtesy of 7News Brisbane (via SFFGazette.com). Filmed on Australia's Gold Coast in Queensland, it shows a local beach that's been transformed into Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

The location is evident from the Brazilian flags, police vehicles, and military on hand. Extras, meanwhile, can be seen enjoying a day by the beach before running from a kaiju that seemingly emerges from the nearby ocean.

Of course, there is no real monster action in the below clip. We’ll get a good look at these big baddies when the show adds all those bits of CGI and movie magic to the footage.

The untitled project will take place in the aftermath of the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that levelled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real, with the focus put on one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.

Legendary Television is producing this MonsterVerse TV series that was co-created by Chris Black (Star Trek: Enterprise) and Matt Fraction (Hawkeye), with the former serving as showrunner. WandaVision's Matt Shakman will direct the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer.
