Heretic Parfum X Nosferatu Is The Perfect Scent For Spooky Season

Horror fashion is thriving in 2024! From bootleg t-shirt companies to haute couture horror fashion from Vixen by Micheline Pitt there is no shortage of ways to deck yourself out in some terrifying threads. Horror fashion isn’t new, and it is often confused with Goth fashion which has some similarities but isn’t the same. Needless to say, some of us at Macabre Daily are far more fashionable than others. One thing is for sure, we don’t like to stink. Hell, smelling good and feeling good go hand in hand. While there are many horror crossovers you can wear, there aren’t nearly as many that you can smell. Whether this is a good thing or not really depends as we don’t think a “Saw” themed cologne would attract the kind of attention one would want, but what about vampires?

Heretic Parfum is teaming up with Focus Features for a scent inspired by the upcoming release of Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu.” Check out the press release below to learn more and see some pictures of the packaging. You can order the perfume starting tomorrow, and it makes a great holiday gift for your favorite bloodsucker!

From The Press Release

Heretic Parfum celebrates the historical release of Robert Eggers’ highly anticipated film, Nosferatu, only in theaters this Christmas, with a limited-edition scent.

Inspired by the film, the custom scent, also titled Nosferatu, is a collaboration between Focus Features and perfumer Douglas Little. Through viewing the film, historical research, and time period understanding, Little was able to bring the essence of Nosferatu into a fragrance while exploring the question:

What does a vampire smell like?

A scent as atmospheric as the film, the perfume transports the wearer into the dark spaces inhabited by Count Orlok himself. The Eau de macabre opens with top notes of lilac and ambrette seed that fall into a heart chord of violet, orris root and petrichor. The mysterious dry-down is woven around vegan ambergris and Oud absolute.

Described as, cold, pale and pellucid, the fragrance evokes the uneasy chill of encountering an apparition.

The cap of each 30ml bottle is engraved with Count Orlok’s sigil and comes packaged in an exquisite black coffret complete with printed fragrance notes and inspiration.

This is a limited-edition release that is sure to be highly collectable for any cinephile, vampire enthusiast or lover of Nosferatu.

Heretic Parfum’s Nosferatu is available starting tomorrow, Thursday, October 31st, on our website below. $125, 30mL. https://hereticparfum.com/products/nosferatu
