Jenna Ortega is Wednesday Addams In First Image And Teaser Trailer For Tim Burton's 'WEDNESDAY'

A continuation of our favorite creepy and kooky family, The Addams Family is on the way to Netflix entitled ‘WEDNESDAY’ and will focus on the titular character being played by Jenna Ortega.

Today we have your first look at Ortega as Wednesday as well as the first teaser trailer for the show coming to Netflix in the fall from director Tim Burton. (Goth Daddy to many)

Alongside Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday, Luis Guzmán is Gomez and Catherine Zeta-Jones is Morticia in the live-action series. Christina Ricci will also appear in the show.

“Wednesday” is described as “a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.” It’s said to follow…

“Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships.”

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville”) are writing and showrunning. Burton is directing.
