Jordan Peele Teases Next Film And Is "Psyched" That It Could Be His Favorite Film To Date
2017 brought Jordan Peele to the attention of horror fans everywhere when his first film, GET OUT and he hasn’t stopped delivering mind bending horror ever since. Now the director is on his fourth film after the success of 2022s NOPE.
Universal Pictures recently bumped Jordan Peele’s untitled fourth movie from its original December 25, 2024 release date, and we haven’t been provided with a new date. The delay is due to last year’s SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, but Peele teases in a new chat with the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast that he’s excited to get back behind the camera this year.
“This has been…obviously, it’s been an interesting year because the writer’s strike had had me in a state of listening, and that’s where I need to be,” he explains in the new interview.
Peele continues, “I do feel like my next project is clear to me, and I’m psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favorite movie if I make it right.”
As of right now, we have no idea on what this fourth film could be about but that doesn’t mean we’re not psyched for it. Stay tuned for more on Jordan Peele’s new movie as we learn it.
We do know however that Peele is attached to direct the remake of the Wes Craven film, THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS so that’s another feather in Peele’s horror lovin cap.
