Lionsgate Announces Release Date For "The Strangers - Chapter 1" Blu-Ray

We here at Macabre Daily are anxiously locking our doors and keeping the blinds closed for the announcement of the new Blu-Ray release of “The Strangers - Chapter 1”. This horrifying new chapter into “The Strangers” franchise stars Madeline Petsch (known for her work in the “Riverdale” TV series and ‘Polaroid’) and Froy Gutierrez (known for his work in the “Teen Wolf” TV series and ‘Hocus Pocus 2’). This movie is directed by Renny Harlin (known for his work on “Nightmare on Elm St 4: The Dream Master and “Exorcist: The Beginning”), with the screenplay by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland. The story is by Bryan Bettina and is based on “The Strangers”, written by Bryan Bertino. The synopsis for this movie is as follows:
“After their car breaks down in an eerie small town, a young couple (Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez) are forced to spend the night in a remote cabin. Panic ensues as they are terrorized by three masked strangers who strike with no mercy and seemingly no motive in this chilling first entry of this horror feature-film series from master director Renny Harlin.”
