This November, Mike Flanagan And Kate Siegel Show That Horror Marathons Aren't Just For October!

As we enter the last week of October, we know some of you are ready to throw the proverbial horror towel in. Whether you watch 31 Days of Horror or some variation, the month of October is an aggressive one for horror fans who are cramming all of their favorite fall films into one single month. This can often lead to fatigue in the month of November, and possibly a retreat from the spooky to something different altogether, but we here at Macabre Daily say no thanks to that. Halloween is a holiday, and October is a month, but our love for the genre will not be relegated to just these occurrences. Turns out, Mike Flanagan, Kate Siegel, and the folks at Shout! TV and Scream Factory TV agree.

Airing on 11/15, Shout! TV and Scream Factory TV will be taken over by horror’s favorite couple, Mike Flanagan and Kate Siegel, as they curate a marathon of horror movies to lift your spooky spirits after the post-Halloween depression. Check out the details below, and make sure to follow our Instagram page for the possibility of another spooky giveaway!

From The Press Release

Shout! TV and Scream Factory TV proudly present Mike Flanagan & Kate Siegel’s Movie Marathon, a curated collection of films the pair loves streaming all day November 15. The Shout! TV marathon will feature special introductions to Flanagan and Siegel’s picks including Labyrinth, Donnie Darko and classic episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000. An encore presentation of the duo’s horror picks from Shout! TV’s Handpicked Horror marathon, including The Exorcist III and Nosferatu The Vampyre, will air on Scream Factory TV.

The marathon will serve as the exclusive AVOD premiere of Flanagan’s critically acclaimed film Hush, airing at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET on Shout! TV and Scream Factory TV. Hush is a gripping horror thriller that centers on a deaf writer (Kate Siegel) who has retreated into the woods to live a solitary life. She must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window. The film is coming to 4K on November 26 from Scream Factory and features a newly restored 4K version of the film in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, supervised and approved by director Mike Flanagan, along with a new black-and-white version of the film available only on this release, nicknamed the "Shush Cut," in Dolby Vision with an all-new audio mix. This mix removes nearly all of the score, providing a completely new minimalist experience that ratchets the tension up even more. Pre-order from ShoutFactory.com. Hush can also be watched at any time via digital download.
