Mondo Releasing "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters' Figures Just In Time For Halloween
Cable television during the 90s was a blessing beyond comprehension with tons of awesome cartoons and shows. Nickelodeon was the king of cartoons for kids back then and one show that became a sleeper hit over the years but is now in high demand for anything collectible is of course, “AAAHH!!! REAL MONSTERS” and the folks over at Mondo are bringing you just what you want with some new figures just announced. Check out the details below!
Our friends over at Collider were the first to drop the news about Mondo and “Aaahh!! Real Monsters” and from what we have read, these new “squad figures” will be a must-have for 90s kids everywhere.
The figures are set to go live for pre-order tomorrow, September 17th, at the MondoShop. This works out perfectly because this October will be 30 years since “Aaahh!!! Real Monsters premiered. Mondo is jumping at this with exclusive figures of Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm to be the first in their new line of Mondo Squads. These new figures will be based on pop culture crews and feature many accessories as you can see from the images below.

These figures are a must for us and we know that many will be eager to add Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm, to their collections. We remember watching the various marathons Nickelodeon would put on for Halloween time and “Aaahh!!! Real Monsters” was our favorite of the cartoons featured.
“Aaahh!!! Real Monsters” ran on Nickelodeon from 1994 to 1997 and focused on a sort of “scare academy” where our three main monsters, Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm, all go to school. Yes, the show sounds like Disney’s “Monster’s Inc” but trust us, these monsters were more interested in scaring than pleasing a demanding mouse. If the three students can pass their classes, they will be viewed as prominent members of the monster society.
Will you be adding Mondo’s “Aaahh!!! Real Monsters” figures to your collection?
