Naomi Scott Set To Star In 'SMILE 2'

The world that Parker Finn created with his short film, Laura Hasn’t Slept, was brought to the big screen last year with the film ‘SMILE’ and now that universe is expanding with an official sequel.

Deadline reports that Naomi Scott (Charlie’s Angels, Power Rangers) has been set to star in Paramount Pictures’ untitled sequel.

Smile 2 will hit theaters on October 18, 2024.

Plot details, of course, are under wraps at this time. In the first film, “After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.”

Stay tuned for more on Smile 2 as we learn it. The first film scared up a whopping $217 million worldwide last year, so it was easy to assume that a sequel was in the works and coming our way soon.
