New Trailer For "SMILE 2" Asks "Would It Kill You To Smile?"
Paramount Pictures has just revealed the new trailer for “SMILE 2” and it asks us a very simple yet pointed question: “Would it kill you to smile?” In this case…we think it would.
“Smile 2” is set for an October 18th release and features Kyle Gallner, Naomi Scott, and Rosemarie DeWitt. Director/Writer Parker Finn is back in the director’s chair for this one and we figured he would be because he came up with the whole concept for SMILE back in 2020.
Here’s the official synopsis from Paramount:
About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (Naomi Scott) begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.
If you recall, SMILE was released in 2022 and blew folks away with its concept which was written by director Parker Finn. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and grossed over $217 million worldwide on a budget of $17 million.
Will “SMILE 2” do as well when it hits theaters on October 18th.
