POLITICAL SLASHER "FOUNDERS DAY" PICKED UP BY DARK SKY FILMS

The calendar seems to be filling up with more and more holidays, and the good news for horror fans is that means we get more “holiday-themed” horror! The newest macabre holiday movie pairing is Founders Day, which according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter has just been picked up by Dark Sky Films.

The film has been making the rounds at various festivals and is aiming for an “early 2024” release. The story follows a series of murders happening in a small town just days before the local mayoral election and the celebration of the titular town holiday.
