Rock N' Roll Till You Die In The New Trailer For "ART OF A HIT" (TRAILER)

The list of rock-centric horror movies isn’t exhaustive, and aside from the recent Studio 666, not many recent horror movies have tackled the juxtaposition of rock n’ roll and horror. The overlap between the two art forms isn’t new by any stretch, with bands such as Iced Earth or more recently Ice Nine Kills using horror as a foundation to inspire their songs. In the 80s the “Satanic Panic” ushered in a wave of criticism against heavy metal acts for the way they looked, the songs they played, and above all the cover art they distributed. But since that died down in the mid-90s horror fans haven’t gotten many films that want to dabble in the intersection of rock and the macabre. Thankfully, Gaelen Draper and Charlie Sexton are around to rockingly right these wrongs with their upcoming film, Art of a Hit!

We previously reported on this film last month that it got picked up for distribution, and now we have a definitive release date and a new trailer to boot! “Art of a Hit” will debut on VOD on August 20, 2024, from Giant Films. The film’s score and soundtrack are handled by the legendary group, Jets To Brazil, and we have that new trailer for you to check out below! Let us know what you’re thinking in the comments, and stay tuned for a “rocking” review in the coming weeks!
