SDCC 2024: STORM KING COMICS Offering Exclusive Poster That Hits You Right In The Nostalgia!

The con of all cons is almost here. That’s right, we’re talking about the world-famous San Diego Comic-Con! Taking place as it usually does in Downtown San Diego, SDCC welcomes fans from across the world to indulge in their love for comics, films, and pop culture. As usual, Macabre Daily will have some boots on the ground reporting on the creepiest and kookiest finds, but fans of more “mature” comics in attendance would do right by making a stop at the Storm King Comics booth #1935!

As part of the festivities, the folks at Storm King are offering up an exclusive poster of variant art for their recent release of The Killing Hole! We reviewed this back in May, see here, and this is what we had to say:

The artwork, framing, and pacing are top-notch. Artist Trevor Denham and colourist Ryan Winn did an exceptional job bringing a grittiness to the style that accentuates the more emotional and sinister elements, especially for depicting Stewart’s internalised emotional turmoil. Any time someone becomes angry or violent, there is a visceral distortion that hyphenates Stewart’s emotional reaction to the scene.
