STORM KING COMICS Releasing Four New Horror Comics In Time For Halloween

Storm King Comics, from horror legends John Carpenter and Sandy King, are bringing out four new comics this month, and they look like they have a lot of potential.

As the first title in their Dark & Twisted series, Death Mask, author Amanda Deibert and artist Cat Staggs bring us the story of Detective Sonia Maza as she tracks a serial killer who can seemingly hide in plain sight.

For a bit of variety, Stanley and the Haunted House, is a more light-hearted story, aimed at younger readers. A group of animal friends, led by the squirrel Stanley, spend a night in a supposedly haunted house as he attempts to prove ghosts aren’t real.

The next in the lineup is Volume 9 of the award-winning horror anthology series, John Carpenter’s Tales for a Halloweenight, featuring another batch of short horror stories from 13 writers and 24 artists, for fans and new readers alike.

And lastly, The Envoy, the latest graphic novel in the outstanding Tales of Science Fiction series. Author David J. Schow and artist Andres Esparza present the tale of two scientist racing each other to make first contact with alien life. One finds a golden entity that offers to cure the worst Earthbound diseases. The other discovers a creature much more monstrous.

Death Mask and Stanley and the Haunted House are already available online and in local comic shops. Tales of Halloweenight and The Envoy will be on sale from September 27. However, all the titles can be purchased or preordered through the Storm King Comics website. www.StormKingComics.com
