STRANGER THINGS 5 Will Most Likely Feature A Time Jump, The Duffer Brothers Tease

July 1st will be the when the final 2 episodes for STRANGER THINGS 4 get released on Netflix. It has been confirmed that only one more season of Stranger Things will be happening by The Duffer Brothers and it most definitely will be the FINAL season.

With the young cast getting older but the characters in the show staying the same age, a time jump is definitely a smart move and now has been confirmed.

“I’m sure we will do a time jump,” Ross Duffer tells TV Line in a new interview. “Ideally, we’d have shot [Seasons 4 and 5] back to back, but there was just no feasible way to do that.”

Matt Duffer tells the site, “I’m not sure we’re ready to say yet a start date for shooting [Season 5]. But a lot of it is pretty well mapped out.” Matt Duffer continues, “The ending is the hard thing. That’s obviously the stressful thing. We really want to stick the landing.”

Stranger Things 5 will be the end of the original series but that DOESN’T mean spinoffs aren’t already being looked at by Netflix.
