The Demon Valak Returns In First Official Trailer For 'THE NUN II'

Ya just can’t keep a bad demon down and one of the baddest in recent years has for sure been Valak of the Conjuring universe and this bad bitch is back in the official trailer for THE NUN 2 which we have for you below.

The Nun 2 is directed by  Michael Chaves (Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), Taissa Farmiga will be back as Sister Irene, with Bonnie Aarons again playing the demonic nun known as Valak. Storm Reid (“Euphoria”) will be leading the sequel’s cast.

The Nun II will arrive in theaters on September 8, 2023.

Here’s the first The Nun II plot synopsis: “1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit THE NUN follows SISTER IRENE as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force VALAK – THE DEMON NUN.”

The first film ended with the Sister Irene and Maurice (Jonas Bloquet) escaping, only Maurice was now possessed by Valak.

Chaves recently told EW. “Maurice made his way to France and he’s working at this boarding school as kind of a handyman,” says Chaves. “He has a friendship and a flirtation with one of the teachers there, and you can see him starting to mature, so that’s where our characters start out. But we know from the first film that there’s something terrible inside of him, that Valak escaped within him, and events pull Irene back on this collision course with her old friend.”
