The "GARGOYLES" Sega Genesis Game Is Getting Remastered

With Neca getting the rights to the 90s cartoon Gargoyles, and a new comic book continuation of the original show in the works as well, now is a perfect time to revisit the cartoon series. But what about on the video game side of things? Never fear as Disney and Empty Clip Studios are giving us a remastered version of the Sega Genesis game based on the franchise!

Announced at the D23 Expo, Gargoyles Remastered will be coming to “modern consoles” and PC. Details as to specific consoles were not part of the announcement, nor was a release date announced for the game. However, the game will feature updated visuals and controls.

Released in November 1995 for the Sega Genesis (a Super Nintendo version was planned but ultimately cancelled), Gargoyles loosely followed the plot of the show.
