New Line Cinema broke out the Rosary beads and went on bended knee for a director for the much rumored about continuation of The Nun with The NUN 2 and it looks like director Michael Chaves has answered their supplications.

If the name Michael Chaves doesn’t ring a bell, he was hand picked by producer and creator of the Conjuring universe, James Wan himself, to direct ‘The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It’

Last we heard, Akela Cooper (Malignant) will be writing The Nun 2.

Of course a sequel to The Nun was warranted when it pulled in an impressive $365 million at the worldwide box office.
