Warwick Davis Introduces The Cast For Disney's Upcoming WILLOW Series [Video]

Rumblings were very much happening about what Disney would be doing with the 80s fantasy film “Willow” now that it owned the rights. Today we have learned that a brand new TV Series is happening.

Stephen Woolfenden will direct the pilot episode, which was written by Jonathan Kasdan (Solo), and filming is underway.

Warwick Davis returns as Willow UfGood in the new series and introduces us to the rest of the cast in the below video.

Willow” is coming to Disney+ in 2022. The series “will take place years after the events of the original film,” with Kasdan and Wendy Mericle (“Arrow”) as the showrunners.

“It introduces all-new characters to the enchanted realm of fairy queens and two-headed Eborsisk monsters, and welcomes back its hero, Willow Ufgood, played once again by Warwick Davis.”

Ron Howard, the original film’s director, is producing the new series.
