WONDER WOMAN Star Gal Gadot Cast as The Evil Queen In Upcoming Live-Action SNOW WHITE For Disney!

This, we were NOT expecting but hey, Disney has the pull to get just about anybody in a film these days.

As of late, Gal Gadot hasn’t shown her villainous side in many roles but we sure hope she brings it for this new adaptation from Disney for a live-action Snow White.

The highly in-demand actress, who will next be seen in Netflix's action comedy Red Notice, is in final negotiations to play the Evil Queen in the Mouse House's latest reimagining of one of their classic animated features. She will join Shazam! Fury of The Gods and Westside Story's Rachel Zegler as the titular princess.

Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man movies, Gifted) will helm the project, while The Girl on the Train screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson penned the script. This latest take on the legendary tale is expected to "expand upon the story and music from the 1938 animated classic," with La La Land duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul enlisted to write new songs for the movie.

No official word as far as a release date but we will loop back with more news as it develops.
