25 Years Later Miko Hughes And Freddy Kreuger Face Off In New Fan Film 'DYLAN'S NEW NIGHTMARE'

From the folks who brought you the Friday The 13th fan Film, ‘Never Hike Alone’, are now venturing into the lands of dreams and nightmares with a brand new Nightmare On Elm street fan flick entitled ‘DYLAN’S NEW NIGHTMARE’ and we have your first look at the film below.

Womp Stomp Films shared some new images from that production has wrapped, with Dylan’s New Nightmare set to be an unofficial sequel to Wes Craven’s New Nightmare.

Directed by Cecil Laird of The Horror Show YouTube channel, the short film picks up 25 years after the events of New Nightmare and welcomes back Miko Hughes to reprise the role of Dylan Porter, the young son of Heather Langenkamp, now a grown man trying to make his way in the world his parents raised him in—Hollywood.

Little does he know that the evil entity known as Freddy Krueger is back, and eager to once again break into our world through the son of his favorite victim.

After being delayed almost 3 years due to the pandemic, the project is celebrating the completion of filming by releasing exclusive images including a first look at Freddy Krueger, played by Dave McRae and featuring make-up designed by “Face Off” Season 9 winner Nora Hewitt. Friday the 13th alumni Ron Sloan and Cindy Kania also make guest appearances.

With a tentative release scheduled for summer of 2023, you can still support Dylan’s New Nightmare and its post-production campaign over on Indiegogo.
