More importantly, how many times have you been watching a sequel in a horror franchise and thought to yourself, “what the fuck were they thinking?!”. From Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 through Halloween Ends, horror franchises are known for having at least one entry that takes an extra big swing.

So this month, Lowell and Matt are talking about their Top 5 Horror Sequels that “went off the rails”. These are franchise films that seemingly disregard their predecessors to both the delight and dismay of audiences.
