Bloody Disgusting Debuts New Walmart Exclusive Steelbooks!
There is an embarrassment of riches in the world of physical media these days, with many companies offering not just the same movies, but different variations of artwork and format. One of the more contentious additions to the collector landscape is steelbooks, the metal-encased versions of films that usually offer different artwork along with the shiny, metal aesthetic. Companies like Vestron have taken to this trend alongside the likes of Sream! Factory and Synapse Films, and now it seems that Bloody Disgusting is taking up the mantle to release their own line of steelbooks based on popular Lionsgate horror films.
The new lineup of Steelbooks are below, and some on the internet have balked at the artwork, but realistically the target audience for these are folks who either don’t own the films or have a fixation on the Steelbook. Regardless, some great titles are getting this treatment, and together they look great. Check out the press release information below for more details!
