Dark Sky Films Brings The Original "THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE" Back To Theaters In Glorious 4K!
Few films are as important to the horror genre as Tobe Hooper’s 1974 masterpiece, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, to be specific the theatrical premiere date was October 1, 1974, with a theatrical release following on October 11th, it is impossible to think about the genre as it stands today without considering the enormous impact "TCM” had on the genre and the culture. Thankfully, the horror community and its stalwarts never let a good anniversary go to waste and Dark Sky Films are setting a precedent for how classic film anniversaries should be handled.
