Disney's D23 Magazine Features 'HAUNTED MANSION' Cast Of Characters On The Cover

 

Disney’s new ‘HAUNTED MANSION’ live action film is set for a July 28, 2023 release date and today Disney has revealed one of three new covers for their fan club (Known as D23) magazine featuring the cast of the film in the “dead center” of the mag.

Featured on the cover are Rosario Dawson (Gabbie) and co-stars Owen Wilson (Father Kent), Danny DeVito (Bruce), Chase W. Dillon (Travis), Jamie Lee Curtis (Madame Leota), Tiffany Haddish (Harriet), and LaKeith Stanfield (Ben)

Justin Simien (Dear White People, Bad Hair) is directing the new live action adaptation of the popular, long-running Disney theme park attraction that’s home to 999 haunts.

Director Simien said in a statement “As a lifelong fan of the Haunted Mansion attraction, I’m beyond excited to share the teaser trailer for our new film adaptation featuring an incredible cast. Our team has worked tirelessly to create a scary, funny and cinematic otherworldly adventure for both new and die-hard fans to enjoy! I can’t wait for audiences to experience this big screen version of the iconic Disney attraction.”

Jared Leto will also be starring as the Hatbox Ghost.

Winona Ryder, Dan Levy, and Hasan Minhaj will also appear in the new movie.

“In this mysterious adventure, a doctor (Dawson) and her 9-year-old son (Chase Dillon), looking to start a new life, move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans, only to discover that the place is much more than they bargained for. Desperate for help, they contact a priest (Wilson), who, in turn, enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert (Stanfield), a French Quarter psychic (Haddish) and a crotchety historian (DeVito).”

Katie Dippold (Ghostbusters 2016) is writing the new movie’s script for Disney.
