Disney's HAUNTED MANSION Live Action Film Adds Rosario Dawson To Cast!

Disney’s Haunted Mansion always gets a lot of love during “spooky season” and this year is no different. We’ll be getting a Muppet themed Haunted Mansion film later this year closer to Halloween and now news has reached us concerning the next take on the attraction.

Justin Simien (Dear White People, Bad Hair) has been put on board to direct a new live action movie and we have some casting updates as well.

LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish and Owen Wilson are already part of the cast, and Deadline reports that Rosario Dawson (Death Proof, Zombieland 2) has now joined them.

Katie Dippold (Ghostbusters 2016) is writing the new movie’s script for Disney.

Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich’s Rideback will be producing.

Awhile back Guillermo del Toro was attached to direct but sadly, he dropped out. We have hopes that this take on the attraction will be more scares than laughs.
