Go Back Into The Further As The Next 'INSIDIOUS' Movie Is Coming To Theaters Summer 2025
Last years ‘INSIDIOUS: THE RED DOOR’ did extremely well at the box office and with that, just last night, Sony has announced the next installment in the Insidious franchise has been dated for 2025 release.
So far the film is untitled but we can confirm it is set for a August 29, 2025 release.
Deadline notes in their report tonight that this particular project is NOT the previously announced spinoff movie Thread: An Insidious Tale, which doesn’t yet have a release date.
Mandy Moore and Kumail Nanjiani will star in Thread: An Insidious Tale.
Director James Wan’s original Insidious movie in 2011 was followed by Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015), Insidious: The Last Key (2018), and last year’s Insidious: The Red Door, which became the highest grossing movie in the entire franchise thus far.
We think that the Insidious franchise has a lot left to offer before it bows out of the pop culture lexicon and we’re here for it.
We’ll bring more news as it develops.
