Joe Bob Briggs Holiday Special On Shudder Gets A Premier Date

Every year since Joe Bob Briggs and The Last Drive-In came back to the small screen, thanks to the folks over at Shudder, we have been eager for his various Holiday related specials and this year is no different as the 2022 edition of his X-Mas related Holiday Special has officially been given a premier date.

The special is hilariously titled Joe Bob's Ghoultide Get-Together. The Last Drive-In event will feature a surprise double feature of films featuring Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy "The Mail Girl" as hosts, with the event sure to also include some special guests. Joe Bob's Ghoultide Get-Together will debut on Shudder TV on December 16th at 9 p.m. ET and be available on Shudder on December 18th.

Shudder describes the event, "Joe Bob celebrates Christmas the drive-in way, complete with The Last Drive-In's third annual holiday auction with proceeds going to charity. And who knows, this year's double feature might even include a Christmas horror movie or two..."

If you recall, there have been a few Holiday related specials where Joe Bob flat out refused to play Christmas themed Horror and he even did a marathon of all the Phantasm films instead. (Phantasm II was the only entry missing).
