Nostalgic Nebula To Host Special Screening Of "BEETLEJUICE" With Live Makeup Tutorial From Oscar Winner Ve Neill
Just because spooky season ends on October 31st, that doesn’t mean we horror fans stop going to spooky and cool events throughout the year. Our friends at Nostalgic Nebula have an epic screening of “BEETLEJUICE” at the beginning of November and we have all the info for you to attend below.
As someone who has attended past events by Nostalgic Nebula, we can attest that they do movies right and truly care about their audiences and their experience while watching films that remind us of our youth.
On November 3rd, 2024, Nostalgic Nebula presents How To Make Beetlejuice: An Evening With Ve Neill, Steve LaPorte & Yolanda Toussieng.

Ever wonder what the recipe for Beetlejuice is? On November 3rd at The Alex Theatre in Glendale, Academy Award-winning filmmakers Ve Neill, Steve LaPorte and Yolanda Toussieng will take you step-by-step through the process of creating the iconic Beetlejuice look with a live makeup demonstration on actor Brandon Hillock, providing insight into their collaboration with Tim Burton and Michael Keaton, detailing the evolution of the design from Tim Burton’s hand drawings to the ultimate film-ready look.
Afterward, enjoy a live musical tribute to Danny Elfman’s beautifully haunting score and then watch the 1988 Tim Burton classic on the big screen. Following the screening will be an audience Q&A with Ve, Steve, and Yolanda (and possibly a few other souls).
Note: Due to time constraints, the makeup demonstration will begin with the early stages already completed.
