The fine fiends at Scream Factory are on a roll with their 4k Ultra HD releases of classic horror flicks and another one that was just announced is The Burning, with Scream Factory announcing today that the 1981 film hits 4K UHD + Blu-ray on July 11, 2023.
In The Burning, “A group of summer camp pranksters get the scare of their lives when they target the camp’s creepy caretaker…and he takes bloody revenge!”
Feeling like a lost Friday the 13th movie, The Burning introduced the slasher icon known as Cropsy. The film is notable for featuring gore effects from the legendary Tom Savini and we all know that Savini is a master when it comes to gore so this is a must own for any fan of 80s slashers.
