Take Your First Look At Matilda Lutz As 'RED SONJA' For Upcoming Movie

There have been a few different iterations of Red Sonja but today we have your first look at the films star, Matilda Lutz as the titular character herself. The film is coming from M.J. Bassett (Solomon Kane) who is directing.

The first image was revealed by Deadline and Deadline notes, “While the character is billed as a fearsome warrior boasting a high degree of skill with a sword, details as to the film adaptation’s plot have so far been kept under wraps.”

The cast also includes Wallis Day, Robert Sheehan, Michael Bisping, Martyn Ford, Eliza Matengu, Manal El-Feitury, Katrina Durden and Oliver Trevena.

The new Red Sonja movie was written by Joey Soloway and Tasha Huo.
