James Wan Producing 2024s First Big Horror Release With Supernatural Flick 'NIGHT SWIM'

There’s no lifeguard on duty for this flick. Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are reteaming again with Universal Pictures, this time for the supernatural thriller Night Swim. Wyatt Russell and Kerry Condon will star in Night Swim from writer/director Bryce McGuire, and today we have an update on the films release.

Previously set for theatrical release on January 19, 2024, Night Swim will now be unleashed on January 5, 2024. This makes the flick the first horror release of 2024. What a way to kick off the year, eh?

Details are currently under wraps, but the film is said to be a supernatural thriller centered around “the hidden source of terror found in an iconic backyard swimming pool.”

The feature is based on McGuire’s 2014 short film. McGuire wrote with Rod Blackhurst.
